MEET THE MONKEYS

Monkey Therapy began a long time ago with this little monkey named "Diddy":

He belonged to this little boy

...named "Bubby",who's a teenager now!
Diddy is absolutely irreplaceable, but one day Bubby spied some other monkeys he liked. You can see what's left of them here.
He decided that was what he wanted for Christmas 2008. I didn't know how to knit then and at that time, the monkee maker wasn't offering a pattern and any time she had a monkey available, they sold out before I had a chance to yell,
"YES, I WANT ONE!!"
So after a lot of late nights figuring out how to make a fabric monkey look like a knit monkey (not an easy task), pattern scrapping and back aches, I finally came up with a suitable substitute for Christmas; "M"

...my first Monkey Therapy Monkey. He was made with cheap fleece (before I knew about the non pilling kind!). It pilled all up but it didn't matter. Bubby still loves him & plays with him just the same. It's like therapy. Monkey Therapy!

The photo above is our first ever monkey which was made with inexpensive fleece. This is not the fleece I use today!

Our monkeys come in two sizes,
A Big Monkey ($45) & Half-Pint ($25)
They're made with the highest quality, no-pill fleece, filled with
